Who you are dealing with
This site is operated by Dar Al Èlite, a clothing house based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In these terms, “we” and “the house” mean Dar Al Èlite; “you” means the person placing the order.
Using this site or placing an order means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not order.
How an order is formed
Paying at checkout is not a guarantee of stock — everything here is made in short runs, and a piece can sell out between one order and the next. A contract for a piece exists once we confirm over WhatsApp that what you paid for is actually available.
- You choose your pieces and pay securely at checkout, by card, through Ziina.
- We confirm what you paid for is actually in stock.
- If everything is available, we dispatch and send tracking where the courier provides it.
- If something is not available, we refund that part in full — see the refund policy.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in UAE dirhams (AED) and include VAT where it applies. Delivery is calculated at checkout by emirate and shown before you pay — see shipping & delivery.
We may correct an obviously wrong price before checkout. If a price on the site is clearly a mistake, we will tell you before you are able to pay.
Payment is collected securely at checkout, by card, through Ziina, a licensed UAE payment provider. We do not see or store your card details — Ziina handles them directly.
Stock and substitution
Everything is made in runs. A piece shown on the site may sell out between your message and our reply. We will never substitute a different colourway, size or piece without asking you first.
Delivery
Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. Once a parcel is handed to the courier, its schedule is theirs. Risk passes to you on delivery; ownership passes once payment has cleared in full.
You are responsible for giving a correct address and a phone number the courier can reach. Parcels returned to us because nobody could be reached may be redelivered at your cost.
Returns, exchanges and cancellation
You may cancel an order at any point before it is dispatched, and we refund it in full. After dispatch, our return policy applies, and refunds are handled under the refund policy.
What the garments are
Colours on a screen are an approximation. Natural fibres vary between runs, and garment-washed cloth carries small differences in shade and surface. These are properties of the cloth, not faults.
Where a piece is genuinely faulty, your rights under UAE consumer protection law apply in full and are not limited by anything on this page.
Using this site
The palm mark, the name Dar Al Èlite, the photography, the copy and the code of this site belong to the house. You may not reproduce them commercially without permission. Editorial use of the mark for press is welcome — see the press page.
Do not attempt to interfere with the site, scrape it at volume, or use it to send anything unlawful.
Liability
We are responsible for the pieces we sell you and for getting them to you as agreed. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction over any dispute.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when we confirmed it.
